 Claudio Contrasti
Claudio Contrasti is an accomplished Italian session Hairstylist qualified at Vidal Sassoon
as International Master, who has worked with top hairdressers in Rome, Paris,
London and Los Angeles. Claudio has developed an extensive range
of cutting and styling techniques, his talents can not only been seen in the salon
he often participates in shoots, his work has been published in magazine editorials
around the World,Claudio has been involved in many different Fashion Weeks
around Europe as Couture Hair Stylist working alongside with top designers,
he's specialized in Editorial for Fashion magazines and photo shoots.
His experience of International session hair styling and magazine work make him
one of today brightest hairdressing prospects.
Claudio's passion for hairdressing became apparent when he worked for various
top Italian hairdressers, he was fascinated by the way in which hair was cut and he learnt the art
of "observing and imitating."
"The way I was learning hairdressing was instinctive, simply because hairdressers don't teach they
observe and imitate that's why I became fascinated by creating hair styles, because I was playing with
the hair without the need of techniques. I still remember it was just fun to see the way I developed my creativity."
Claudio is well-known for his appereance in International Hair Shows, Editorials,
Catwalks & Commercials,he has also worked as Educator for company
such as L'Oreal Professional and Revlon Professional. Claudio each year is involved
in the London Fashion Week, Milan Fashion Week and Paris Fashion Week
working alongside with top designers and done shoots for Miss Selfridge
and a plethora of different publications such as Alef , Collezioni,Cosmobellezza,
Clash,Clam, Grazia, Glamour, Hello, HJ ,Hair's How,LAG,Salon Business,Shoo,
Star, Sunday Times,Tocado, Tramp,Vogue Russia ,Viva etc ... Being not stranger
to celebrities, Claudio has styled hair for some of the most sought after supermodels
such as Erin O'Connor ,Sophie Anderton ,Lisa Butcher ,Valeria Marini and also worked
with many well-know international presenters and actresses. After settled in England I also open my own salon Contrasti London specialized in all aspects of Hair Trends .
Claudio lives between London & Los Angeles as an appointed ID Artists by L'Oreal and a Revlon Professional Ambassador Claudio currently travels a lot for work around the globe to educates and informs other hairdressers of the latest trends and techniques. |
